Fantasma Games AB (NASDAQ: FAGA), a Stockholm-based game company, completes a directed new share issue, through which they will raise SEK 8 million. With this, the owner families Knutsson and Lundström deepen their involvement in the company while Swedish financial group Svea Ekonomi joins as a new major investor.
In connection with the recently entered agreement to acquire the Bulgarian game producer Wiener Games OOD, the Board of Fantasma Games AB has decided to carry out a directed new share issue of SEK 8 million. This was done under the authorization that the Board received at the Annual General Meeting in February 2021.
– We identified a transaction that enables us to quickly scale up our production to meet the increased demand for our games. The directed share issue allows us to complete the acquisition despite a tight time frame. With the strong support of both existing and new owners, we are really looking forward to the next few months, says Fantasma Games’ acting CEO Jacob Sachs.
The share issue means that the families of Knutsson and Lundström (NetEnt, Betsson, and others) together invest an additional SEK 3 million in Fantasma Games. Furthermore, Svea Ekonomi, a large Swedish financial group, invests SEK 4 million along with others who jointly invest SEK 1 million. The deal has been made, without discount, at the volume-weighted average price (VWAP) over the last 30 business days. In total, 221 370 new shares will be issued, which will lead to a dilution of 8,03%.
